Objective 1: Reducing mortality and morbidity and improve the long term prognosis of acute myocardial infarction patients in northern region of Batticaloa .
Goal 2: To reduce door to needle time by abolishing the transfer time in acute myocardial infarction patients in southern region of Batticaloa (around Kaluwanchikudy).

Long-term Sustainability:
Long-term sustainability is high in this project as these instruments are permanent.
Equipment Requested and Funded by SLMANA Eastern Region Inc.
The equipment has been provided for the project and it is currently in use. We anticipate receiving progress reports from Dr. Arulnithy and will update the website, when we receive them.
